This Shipping Policy outlines the responsibilities, limitations, and terms related to domestic and international shipments placed with Portland Scale Ship Company. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.

Domestic & International Shipments (General Terms)

Delivery Confirmation

If tracking information provided by the carrier indicates that an order has been delivered, Portland Scale Ship Company will consider the order successfully delivered.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once an order is marked as delivered by the carrier, Portland Scale Ship Company is not responsible for packages that are:

• Stolen from a porch, mailbox, or delivery location
• Lost after confirmed delivery
• Missing due to theft or third-party interference

No claims, refunds, or replacements will be issued in these cases.

Damaged Items During Shipping

Replacement Policy

If a product arrives damaged during transit, Portland Scale Ship Company will replace the damaged item at no cost to the customer.

Proof of Damage

Portland Scale Ship Company reserves the right to request photographic evidence of the damaged goods and packaging before issuing a replacement or refund. Failure to provide requested documentation may result in denial of the claim.

International Orders (Outside the United States)

No Liability for International Delivery Issues

Portland Scale Ship Company is NOT responsible for international orders that are:

• Lost
• Undelivered
• Delayed
• Seized
• Misrouted

Once an international package leaves our facility, it is completely out of our control.

Customer Assumes All Risk

If an international shipment does not arrive at its destination, Portland Scale Ship Company is not liable for:

• The cost of the products ordered
• Shipping costs
• Customs delays or losses

Some countries have unreliable postal systems, and theft may be common. International customers purchase at their own risk.

No claims may be made against Portland Scale Ship Company for undelivered international packages for any reason.

Agreement & Waiver of Claims

Portland Scale Ship Company will NOT contact any parcel carrier on your behalf.

Once a package leaves our facility:

• The customer assumes full responsibility for the shipment
• Any communication with the carrier must be handled by the customer

No Refunds or Reshipments for the Following Circumstances

Portland Scale Ship Company is NOT responsible for refunds or reshipments due to:

Address & Delivery Issues

• Shipments held or returned due to an incorrect or undeliverable address provided by the customer

Shipping Delays

• Delayed or late delivery for expedited shipping services

Loss or Theft

• Shipments lost at any point in the parcel process
• Shipments stolen at any point in the parcel process

Final Acknowledgment for International Buyers

Assumption of Risk

All international buyers must agree to these terms and assume all risks of non-delivery through no fault of Portland Scale Ship Company.
